Are Teenagers Considered "Kids"?
Well, I'm 14 and I feel that I'm growing up too fast. The world is moving too, too quickly these days. I like to take it slow, relax, enjoy things while I can. I'm in no hurry to have kids or drive or anything like that.
Whenever I read medical books or something, it seems that lives are divided into sections: Newborns, Infants, Toddlers, Kids, Teens, Adults, Seniors.
So. what are they saying? That we're not kids anymore just because we're "teens"? I still feel like a kid! The way I see it, even 20-year-olds are still kids!
It's confusing. Who else has anything to say about this?
depends how your parents have raised you, i can have a good discussion with my 16 year old better than my 26 year old who thinks they have seen and done it all, and my 39 year old who patronises me ... you are as old as you feel, and if you are relaxed about growing up and take things in your stride rather than being pushed along by others, i suggest you are old enough not to be treated like a Kid as you are already thinking way ahead of the pack
